In Kuku kingdom, there is a wise grandmother (or Kaka) whose stories captivate the attention of children. The news that Kaka is ill scares some of the children who have always loved to hear her stories. Lola and Kaya decide to write Kaka’s stories so that when she is gone, other children will read them. In its story form, the book teaches young readers the value of forests, the dangers of deforestation and what one can do to protect forests. It is a handy book for teachers who can find numerous projects to work with and help pupils revise topics on forest environments.
